Ellie is an artist and workshop facilitator experienced in designing and delivering workshops to adults, young adults and children.
She is a visiting tutor at The King's Foundation Diploma Year and Lead Tutor on the Portfolio Preparation Course 'Thinking Through Making'. Additionally, she has designed and delivered outreach workshops with organisations including THAT Network (Tower Hamlets Art Teachers), University of Bristol Art Society and East Bristol Contemporary's Night School.
Ellie is the founder and lead tutor of Connecting Curious Minds; a programme of classes for adults in London Galleries. Through tutor-led drawing and discussion, CCM classes create a warm atmosphere for participants to meet new people and discover London’s art scene.
'Accessibility is at the heart of my teaching practice, this ranges from making participants feel comfortable visiting and spending time in galleries to teaching processes which use cheap and familiar materials which can be found in the home or at the local shop. Having worked in various roles within art education since 2019, I believe strongly in its ability to explore complex topics, uncover new perspectives and build connection and confidence in individuals and communities.'
